Katie Hamilton
Workshop Leader
Katie is an actor, workshop leader, and theatre facilitator with extensive experience working with both adults and young people through performance and creative education. Passionate about creating inclusive, supportive, and engaging spaces, Katie has delivered workshops for vulnerable adults with Underground Lights Theatre Company, taught with Stagecoach and PQA, and previously led Coventry Youth Theatre.
Alongside her freelance work with a wide range of theatre companies across England, Katie specialises in audition technique, voice work, and Shakespeare, helping performers build confidence, develop skills, and discover their own unique creative voice.
Known for her energetic and approachable style, Katie creates workshops that are bold, welcoming, and full of creativity, encouraging participants to take risks, trust their instincts, and grow as performers. Expect practical exercises, collaboration, plenty of laughter, and usually a little bit of chaos… but always in the best possible way.

Sam Booth
Workshop Leader
Sam has had people laughing since the moment she entered the world — yellow from jaundice and sporting a cone-shaped head thanks to forceps, so you could say comedy was always destined to be part of the plan.
She landed her first comedy role at just 16 years old and, ever since, has found herself gloriously typecast as the one bringing the laughs. And honestly? She wouldn’t have it any other way.
Because while it’s easy to be beautiful and talented… being genuinely funny is a whole different ball game. Comedy isn’t just about telling jokes, it’s about instinct, timing, confidence, commitment, and knowing exactly how to land a moment. Finding the funny is a skill; delivering it naturally and truthfully takes practice, technique, and fearlessness and that’s exactly where Sam comes in.
With years of performance experience and a natural flair for comedy, Sam is passionate about helping performers unlock their comic potential. Whether it’s mastering timing, building confidence, sharpening reactions, embracing physical comedy, or learning how to truly commit to a character, Sam’s workshops focus on creating bold, believable, and brilliantly entertaining performances.
Known for her warmth, energy, quick wit, and ability to put people instantly at ease, Sam creates a supportive environment where performers can take risks, trust their instincts, and discover that sometimes the funniest moments happen when you stop trying too hard and simply commit.
Because comedy isn’t about being the loudest person in the room… it’s about knowing exactly when to deliver the line, the look, the pause or the chaos.
